2026 Summer Student: Maggie Aulman

Hi everyone!

My name is Maggie Rossy-Aulman, and I’m thrilled to be back working with Momentum 2.0 as a Community Service Worker and Arts-based Researcher this summer!

I’m currently based in Montréal, QC, and I’m pursuing a MA in Art History at Concordia University. Before that, I earned a BA in International Relations from Colgate University, where I focused on visual art in relation to subcultures, migration, and intercultural research. My academic journey reflects my interest in how art can serve as a tool for dialogue, healing, and connection across diverse communities.

Since starting work with Momentum 2.0 I curated a group art exhibition in Montreal with the work of 15 artists. All art explores the ability for art to be a pathway for discussions on social change.

I have also been developing an arts-based expression toolkit of various workshops for non profits to use art to support their other initiatives. 

This summer I’m working on publishing the toolkit on the website and curating at exhibitions alongside a national conference for accessibility research. I am looking forward to continuing to work on meaningful community projects and exploring ways to integrate art and social justice.
