Hi, my name is Kettly.

I graduated from high school this year. I am of mixed Canadian-Haitian heritage and was born and raised throughout the Québec province. Since the beginning of July 2025, I have been living in Québec City, and I’m very excited to explore everything this wonderful city has to offer.

In the next few years, I will be attending CEGEP to study Criminology Intervention, and afterward, I plan to pursue a degree in Criminology at university. I hope to make a difference in the lives of victims of criminal acts and understand why some individuals are driven to commit illegal actions.

I applied to Momentum 2.0 this summer in hopes of gaining crucial skills that will give me a head start in both my studies and future life experiences. I want to learn how to work  with the community and how to conduct research. In addition to these goals, I would love the opportunity to contribute to projects related to addiction, which align closely with the field I will be studying this fall.

Beyond my drive to help and understand people, I’m also a very creative person. I love to draw, and for the past five years, I’ve run my own photography business. I’m also passionate about sewing and knitting.
