Momentum 2.0 is dedicated to enhancing community well-being, focusing on genuine needs of the diverse communities we serve. One of these communities includes First Nations organizations, such as the Naskapi community of Kawawachikamach in the remote Côte-Nord region.

After discussing and determining their specific needs, the idea arose to acquire sports equipment to improve access to the area, particularly for youth. March 25, 2025, the Momentum 2.0 team visited Kawawachikamach to deliver sports equipment and warm clothing generously donated by one of our donors. 

We were able to supply the Naskapi community with 13 pairs of snowshoes and hiking poles, 25 winter tuques, 10 hoodies, sweatshirts and long sleeve shirts, 2 pairs of sweatpants, 10 winter coats, 2 pairs of Columbia winter boots, 9 headlamps, and 2 sleeping bags with performance blankets.
